The first students of the course “Nonviolent Educational Practices: EU Experience” within the framework of the Erasmus+ grant project: Jean Monnet module received certificates
The Odesa State University of Internal Affairs has completed the pilot implementation of the course “Nonviolent Educational Practices: EU Experience” as part of the Erasmus+ grant project: Jean Monnet Module.
On this occasion, the university administration, trainers and course participants gathered to summarize the results and experience gained.
Addressing the audience, the rector of the university, Viacheslav Davydenko, expressed his conviction in the practical necessity of the project being implemented. The head of the university emphasized the importance of preventing violent educational practices in the family, which significantly reduces the risk of violence by an adult.
During the presentation, the project coordinator Olena Kovalova presented the main stages of the pilot implementation, the data of the input and output surveys, and outlined future plans for the project. In particular, the feedback from the survey showed that the vast majority of the course participants: rated the course content as “excellent” (70%); rated the work of the course teachers as “excellent” (83%); and would recommend the optional course to others.
Afterwards, the rector of the university presented certificates to the course participants, cadets and students of the university, as well as students of the Odesa Teacher’s Training Professional College who passed the final test with the highest scores.
