Education as the foundation of sustainability: completion of a series of seminars at OSUIA
A series of scientific and methodological seminars on «Current issues in the organization of the educational process at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs in wartime» has been successfully completed at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. This five-week event, organized by the Department of Education Quality Assurance, brought together young scientific and pedagogical workers to discuss and develop new approaches to ensuring quality education in the difficult conditions of wartime.
On June 18, special emphasis was placed on compliance with language legislation in the educational process. Olena Sytko, head of the language training department at OSUIA, gave a presentation on «Compliance with language legislation in the educational process», emphasizing the importance of complying with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine «On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language» during Ukraine's struggle for freedom and independence.
The closing remarks were delivered by the first vice-rector of OSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Colonel Maksym Korniienko. He emphasized continuous development, self-development, and self-improvement throughout life as the basis for providing quality educational services, wishing the participants success in their future professional activities.
During a series of seminars, held both offline and online, participants actively took part in discussions, master classes, and interactive debates. Key issues such as the specifics of organizing the educational process under martial law, teaching and methodological support for teaching, the current state and prospects of teaching methods in higher education, and academic integrity policy were discussed.
At the end of the event, participants were asked to complete a questionnaire, the results of which will help improve the quality of the educational process at OSUIA.
