Thematic meeting with the participation of the head of the NGO «Crimean Tatars of Odesa Region»
On February 26, with the assistance of the social and humanitarian work department, a thematic meeting was held at OSUIA with the participation of Fevzi Mamutov, Head of the NGO «Crimean Tatars of Odesa Region», dedicated to the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The event was dedicated to issues of preserving the national identity, culture, and historical memory of the Crimean Tatar people.
During the meeting, Fevzi Mamutov gave a sincere and emotional account of his homeland, native land, traditions, and spiritual values that shaped generations of Crimean Tatars. Particular attention was paid to the theme of resistance, resilience, and preservation of national dignity in conditions of temporary occupation.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, engage in open dialogue, and gain a deeper understanding of the significance of Resistance Day as a symbol of resilience and the struggle for Ukraine's territorial integrity.
Such meetings promote respect for cultural diversity and understanding of the historical processes that determine the current stage of development of Ukrainian statehood.
