Memorial event «The Bell of Memory»
On February 28, a memorial event called «The Bell of Memory» was held to honor the defenders of Odesa who died in February during the 12 years of war.
The ceremony was conducted by veteran and public figure Ivan Chmil. The event was attended by families of the fallen, veterans, cadets, volunteers, representatives of the clergy, and government officials.
A moment of silence was dedicated to Svitlana Kyrylova, co-author of «The Bell of Memory» campaign, who passed away a year ago.
Representatives of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs – veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war Oleksii Ishchuk, Oleksandr Diuzhykov, and Serhii Kozachenko – also joined the event.
