Binary training for cadets of the OSUIA at the Department of Explosive Service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa region

Police Major Anatolii Sokolovskyi, Senior Inspector of the Department of Explosive Ordnance and Security, told the cadets about:

- peculiarities of the work of the explosive service of the National Police of Ukraine;

- responding to bomb threats;

- explosive hazard categories;

- classification of hand grenades;

- principles of operation of hand grenades;

- peculiarities of neutralization of explosive devices;

- classification of explosives;

- classification of explosions;

- means of initiating an explosion.

The cadets had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern modifications of explosive devices, engineering ammunition, artillery shells, mortar rounds and cluster elements.
