International activity

International cooperation of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs is one of the priorities of the educational institution, which is aimed at ensuring the establishment of international relations of the university with educational institutions, organizations and foundations of foreign countries, as well as further practical implementation of the results of international contacts with police structures and educational institutions of foreign countries. Activities are being intensified to attract scientific and pedagogical staff of the university to undergo trainings and webinars (online and offline), which are conducted by the European Union Agency for the Training of Law Enforcement Officers (CEPOL). Participation of PLA representatives in CEPOL trainings in 2023:

 

 - from 06 to 10 February 2023, the Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel Anna Teteryatnik participated in the subregional training "Investigation of War Crimes" in Chisinau (Moldova); 

 

- from March 27 to March 31, 2023, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Major of Police Anna Sobko participated in a training on countering drug crime in Budapest (Hungary);

 

 - in the period from April 24 to April 28, 2023, a delegate from the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, a specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, senior lecturer of the Department of Administrative Activities of the Police, Doctor of Philosophy Boxhorn Anastasia visited Warsaw (Republic of Poland) in order to participate in the regional training "Illicit trafficking in weapons and explosives: investigations into online activities related to terrorism and Darkweb."

 

In addition, in 2024, the activities of the State Department of Internal Affairs for the registration of applicants for higher education on the LEEd CEPOL portal (TOPCOP project) have been intensified.

 

The relevant representatives took courses on this project, namely: "Joint Investigation Teams"; "Darknet"; Cybercrime. According to the results of the courses, participants received certificates.

 

Also, scientific and pedagogical workers of the university took an active part in passing trainings on the LEEd CEPOL platform.

 

In the period from May 27 to May 31, 2024, an online training on the topic "Public-Private Partnership and Other Forms of Countering the Financing of Terrorism" was held, in which the head of the Department of Labor, Land and Economic Law of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Vladimir Dryshlyuk participated.
