25-year-old Odesa resident Yehor Miroshnichenko successfully completed his studies at the Barrier-Free Driving School of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs and received a category «B» driver's license.

In December 2021, Yehor was involved in a car accident. After sustaining injuries, he underwent lengthy rehabilitation and prosthetics abroad.

He learned about the opportunity to study at OSUIA Barrier-Free Driving School from the Internet, as he had set himself the goal of obtaining a driver's license.

"It's a great driving school with a convenient racetrack and an experienced instructor who provides full support and explanations. They also have new adapted cars, so people with amputations shouldn't have any problems driving. It's quite simple; you can easily control the car, and I didn't notice any difficulties in driving", says Yehor.

A graduate the OSUIA Barrier-Free Driving School is convinced: «For people with disabilities, it's not just a car, it's a means of transportation on par with prosthetics and wheelchairs. It's mobility and accessibility, because wherever you go, you can do it on your own».

"Basically, I have everything I wanted: I learned to walk again, now I have learned to drive, and I will achieve everything else I need", adds Yehor.
