Vinnytsia hosted the ARTAN FIGHTING SERIES international Muay Thai tournament, which was held under the auspices of the International Muay Thai Federation (IFMA).

Nikita Kuts, a cadet at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, competed in the professional matches in the weight class up to 57 kg.

In a fierce five-round bout, Nikita Kuts faced off against Turkey’s Abdussamek Ugurlu, the “Intercontinental Belt” champion. The OSUIA cadet demonstrated a high level of skill, endurance, and fighting spirit, and emerged victorious at the end of the bout.

This victory earned Nikita Kuts the WMC European professional championship title and the championship belt, which he brought back to his hometown of Odesa.

The cadet was trained for the competition by coaches Volodymyr Pishenin and Kostiantyn Trishyn, a senior instructor at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

Congratulations to Nikita Kuts and his coaches on this outstanding achievement, and we wish them many more victories!
