NATO Visit to Odesa State University of Internal Affairs: International Cooperation and Security Perspectives
А delegation from the NATO Representation to Ukraine visited Odesa State University of Internal Affairs to meet with the management and cadets of the institution.
The delegation included Tim Pollmeіer, Head of the Comprehensive Assistance Package Unit, and Vineta Kleine, Head of Communications at the NATO Representation to Ukraine.
As part of the visit, the delegation met with the rector of the university, Viacheslav Davydenko, to discuss Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration, prospects for cooperation between the OSUIA and NATO, as well as joint initiatives in the field of security and psychological support for police officers in times of war.
Special attention was paid to the educational aspect: NATO representatives gave a lecture for cadets on "Ukraine's Integration into the Euro-Atlantic Security Space: Strategic Partnership and Next Steps. NATO Assistance to Ukraine". The participants learned about the key areas of cooperation with NATO, Ukraine's role in the modern international security system and prospects for further integration.
Such meetings contribute to strengthening international relations, raising the level of training of future law enforcement officers and shaping a new security culture in Ukraine.
