OSUIA cadets participated in the Summer Youth Camp of the Red Cross of Ukraine

From August 1 to 5, first-year cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine of OSUIA Vladyslav Drach and Serhii Haina, took part in the Summer Youth Camp of the Red Cross of Ukraine.

The event brought together active young people aged 16 – 35 from different regions of the country who are keen to learn about the humanitarian activities and principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and to develop their teamwork, leadership, and informal learning skills.

The camp program included:

interactive sessions on first aid and psychological assistance, rules of conduct in emergency situations;

team building, quests, creative evenings, competitions, archery;

active camp life, combining recreation with the development of personal and team qualities.

Participation of cadets in such events contributes to the formation of humanistic values, the development of leadership skills, and readiness for volunteer work in the community.
