Speaking Club with the participation of international experts of the European Union Advisory Mission in Odesa
The OSUIA hosted a Speaking Club on the topic «Drug Crime: Investigation and Preventive Measures. Comparative analysis of the experience of Finland, Sweden and Ukraine».
The event was organized with the participation of international experts from the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Odesa.
The university was visited by:
Heidi Kotamaki (Finland), EUAM Community Policing Adviser/Trainer in Odesa;
Johanna Busk (Sweden), Senior Adviser on Criminal Investigations, EUAM Odesa.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the issues of drug crime, methods of investigation and prevention of such crimes.
The invited experts presented the practical experience of law enforcement agencies in Finland and Sweden and compared the approaches of European countries and Ukraine in combating this type of crime.
The event provided an opportunity for higher education applicants not only to improve their English language skills, but also to dive deeper into international experience in combating drug crimes.
