Kateryna Piddubna and Bohdan Protasevych, students of the Regional Police Driving School for Persons with Disabilities, passed the theoretical exam for vehicle drivers at the Territorial Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Kateryna is a doctor by profession. She says she decided to learn to drive after having a dream in which she had to get behind the wheel to save a person's life and quickly get them to the hospital. When Kateryna found out about the Driving School, there was no doubt that she needed it.

Bohdan has long dreamed of mastering the profession of a driver and working in a taxi to move freely around the city and be able to communicate more with people.

Ahead of him is acquiring driving skills on a specially equipped car and preparing for a practical exam to obtain a category B driver's licence.

The project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Driving Schools for Persons with Disabilities" implements the nationwide initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska "No Barriers".
