The OSUIA cadets take part in Speaking Club with EUAM experts
The Regional Office of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Odesa hosted a Speaking Club on “Human Rights and Gender Equality”. The event was attended by cadets of the OSUIA.
Among the speakers were:
- Jan Danco, Advisor/Trainer on Community Policing;
- Sanna Cascaela, advisor/trainer on the rule of law;
- Jean-Marc Krebs, Head of the Department for De-occupied Territories;
- Ian Riving, Advisor/Trainer on Community Policing.
During the event, key aspects of human rights and gender equality principles were discussed, in particular in law enforcement. The speakers emphasized the importance of integrating a gender approach into police work.
The cadets had the opportunity to improve their English communication skills and receive valuable advice from international experts.
The OSUIA expresses its gratitude to EUAM for its assistance in developing modern competencies in future law enforcement officers.
