How many compulsory subjects are there for passing the National multi-subject test?

 

The National multi-subject test will include tasks from three compulsory subjects and one subject of choice. The compulsory subjects are Ukrainian language, mathematics, and Ukrainian history. The subjects offered for choice will include Ukrainian literature, foreign languages (English, Spanish, German, French), biology, physics, chemistry, and geography.

 

How to obtain a Certificate of the 2025 National multi-subject test?

 

If the regional center for educational quality assessment confirms your registration for participation in the national multi-subject test, you will be able to generate a certificate in your personal account.

 

Will the National multi-subject test be conducted in the temporarily occupied territories?

 

In 2025, as in previous years, testing will not be conducted in temporarily occupied territories. Applicants from these territories will be able to enroll in higher education institutions without taking the National multi-subject test.

 

How and when can I get the results of the National multi-subject test?

 

The results of the National multi-subject test will be posted in the corresponding tab of the personal account after the relevant National multi-subject test sessions have been held. After that, each National multi-subject test participant will be able to independently generate their own Information Card with the results. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment will transfer the results of all National multi-subject test participants to the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE) — and they will become available in the applicants' accounts. Please note that you can check the authenticity of the NMT Certificate on the USEDE website. The corresponding service is available at the link. To search for an National multi-subject test Certificate, you must specify its number, year of issue, and the surname and first name of its owner.

 

Will the results of previous years' tests be valid for admission to higher education institutions in 2025?

 

The results of the 2022–2025 National multi-subject test will be valid for admission in 2025.

 

What is the schedule for the Single entrance exam / Single professional entrance exam in 2025 for applicants to master's programs?

 

In accordance with the Calendar Plan for the Organization and Conduct of Entrance Examinations for Master's Programs in 2025, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 201 dated February 12, 2025, entrance examinations will be held in two sessions:

 

  • Main: June 21 — July 12; 

 

  • Additional: July 29 — August 18.

 

The order also provides for two registration periods for persons wishing to participate in the Single professional entrance exam and/or Single entrance exam: the main and additional periods.

 

The main registration period will last from May 2 to May 23 inclusive. Registration will be carried out by the admissions committees of higher education institutions. Registered participants will receive exam sheets containing the data required to log in to their information pages, «Cabinet of participants in entrance exams for master's programs». During the additional period (June 16–17), those who were unable to register during the main registration period will be able to register for the Single professional entrance exam and/or take the Single entrance exam.

 

What is the schedule for the Single professional entrance exam/Single entrance exam in 2025 for applicants to postgraduate programs?

 

Order № 501 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated March 25, 2025 approved the calendar plan for the organization and conduct of the Single professional entrance exam/Single entrance exam for admission to study for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy/Doctor of Arts.

 

The main registration period for participation in the Single professional entrance exam/Single entrance exam will last from May 2 to May 23 inclusive. Registration will be carried out by the admissions committees of higher education institutions. Registered participants will receive exam sheets containing the data required to log in to their information pages, «Cabinet of the participant in the entrance exams for postgraduate studies». During the additional period (June 16–17), those who were unable to register during the main registration period will be able to register for the Single professional entrance exam/Single entrance exam.

 

The Single professional entrance exam / Single entrance exam will be held in two sessions:

 

  • main: July 7–28; 

 

  • additional: August 18–28, 2025.

 

By June 12, participants registered for the main session of the Single professional entrance exam/Single entrance exam will receive invitations/passes on their information pages «Cabinet of participants in entrance examinations to postgraduate studies», which will indicate the date, time, and place of the test, and by August 14, participants in the additional session will receive the same.

 

The results of the main session of entrance exams will be announced by August 8, and the results of the additional session will be announced by September 3, 2025.
