The Odesa Center for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy” (Odesa) is a structural unit of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, which provides professional (vocational and technical) training in the profession 5162 “Police Officer (by specialization)” in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Vocational (vocational and technical) Education” for police officers who are entering police service for the first time, as approved by the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated February 16, 2016, No. 105, and the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated November 9, 2018, No. 902 “On the Implementation of Educational and Training Programs for Primary Professional Training in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated July 26, 2021, No. 102-l “On Licensing of Educational Activities”, the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs was granted the right to carry out educational activities in the field of vocational (vocational and technical) education for the profession 5162 Police Officer (by specialization) with a licensed capacity. Additionally, as per the Order dated June 2, 2023, No. 245-l “On Licensing of Educational Activities”, the university was granted the right to carry out educational activities in the field of vocational (vocational and technical) education for the profession 5169 Security Guard with a licensed capacity of 45 persons.
