Amateur performances at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs are important, first and foremost, for higher education students, helping to develop talents, stimulate cultural development, and improve the health and well-being of the university community.
Employees, cadets and students of the university contribute to the development of folk art and popularization of spiritual and cultural values of the Ukrainian people.
Particular attention is paid to the development of amateur art groups, which contributes to aesthetic education, stimulation of creative self-improvement of young people, and prevention of offenses. Participation in clubs not only disciplines students, but also raises their sense of dignity, self-confidence, and encourages them to study and perform better.
The university has developed a certain system of club work, the educational value of which is enormous. All students are involved in clubs according to their interests. Vocal classes, including work with the Krok do Zirоk (Step to the Stars) group, recitation, and training of event hosts, operate on a systematic basis.
Members of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs amateur performing arts take an active part in career guidance, charity, educational and cultural events at the university and beyond.
