Maksym Viktorovych Kornienko

Maxim Kornienko

He was born in 1979 in the village of Hrebenka, Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region.

 

In 2000, he graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and received a higher education majoring in "Jurisprudence" and qualified as a lawyer. In 2002, he graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and received a full higher education majoring in "Jurisprudence" and obtained a master's degree.

 

He started working in the internal affairs bodies in August 1996. In July 2000, he was appointed operational officer of the 13th Criminal Investigation Department of the Podilsk RU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine in Kyiv.

 

During 2003-2005, he was an adjunct of doctoral studies and an adjunct at the Center for the Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel of the Educational and Scientific Management Institute of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

 

From December 2005 to June 2013, he served in the internal affairs bodies in positions of middle and senior staff of the DSBEZ and public security units.

 

From June 2013 to November 2015, he was an associate professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Economic Security of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

 

In December 2015, he started his service in the National Police of Ukraine as a professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the Security Service and Economic Security of Faculty No. 2.

 

Since September 2019, he held the position of head of the department of police administrative activities of the faculty of training specialists for units of preventive activities.

 

On January 17, 2022, he was appointed vice-rector of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs.

Defended the thesis for the Doctor of Laws degree at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs on 12.00.09 - criminal process and criminology; forensic examination; operative and investigative activity on the topic "Conceptual foundations of combating violent crimes against children."

 

The main areas of scientific research:

Police activity; partnership between police and society; provision and protection of children's rights; administrative and jurisdictional activities of the National Police.
