Born in 1972 in Odesa. In 1994 he graduated from the philological faculty of Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University and entered graduate school.

Maksym Isaienko defended his thesis at the South Ukrainian State National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky in 2002, specializing in 13.00.04 - theory and methodology of professional education.

In 2002 he graduated from Odesa Institute of Internal Affairs with a degree in Law. He has been working at the university since 1997. As Scientific Secretary of the Secretariat of the Academic Council - since September 2019.
