Viacheslav Davydenko
Police Colonel, PhD in Law
Born in 1986 in Antratsyt, Luhansk region.
In 2008 and 2009, he graduated from Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O. Didorenko with a degree in Law Enforcement and Law.
During his service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, he held positions in operational units.
From December 2016 to March 2017, he worked as the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kharkiv Oblast National Police.
From March 2017 to October 2024, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Main Department - Chief of the Criminal Police of the Kharkiv Regional Police.
In October 2024, he was appointed acting rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
In 2018, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law in the specialty 12.00.09 - Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics; Forensic Science; Operational and Investigative Activities on the topic “Operational and Investigative Counteraction to Crimes Against Property Committed in Public Places”.
Participant of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Distinguished himself during the massive Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In view of this, for personal courage and dedication shown in the line of duty, high professionalism and on the occasion of the Day of the National Police of Ukraine, he was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 463/2022 dated July 4, 2022.
