Specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of the OSUIA organized a meeting of higher education students with a well-known historian and journalist, a serviceman of the 13th Operational Brigade of the National Guard ‘Khartiia’, Sergeant Vakhtang Kipiani.

The event brought together the cadets and students of the university, becoming a valuable opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the history of Ukraine, the process of establishing Ukrainian statehood, and to communicate in a meaningful way.

During the meeting, Vakhtang Kipiani spoke about the key moments of the Ukrainian people's struggle for independence, focusing on the historical events that shaped the national identity.

He shared his own experience as a researcher and publicist, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory and critical reflection on the past in modern times, through the prism of the ongoing war between the Ukrainian people and Russia.

The audience was particularly interested in the stories of prominent Ukrainian figures and their contribution to the defense of state sovereignty.

At the end of the event, Vakhtang Kipiani handed over a valuable gift to the museum of the OSUIA, which will become part of the exhibition dedicated to honoring the defenders of Ukraine - the flag of the 13th Operational Brigade of the NGU ‘Khartiia’.
