Traineeship for police academics at the Lithuanian Police School
Between 15 and 19 April, representatives of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs: Professor of the Department of Police Administrative Activities Anastasiia Berendieieva; Lecturer of the Department of Police Administrative Activities Inna Pozihun; and Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special and Special Physical Training Olena Dyorova, underwent an internship at the Lithuanian Police School.
The internship was part of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme.
The following skills were practiced during the internship:
- incident response tactics, detention of offenders, inspection and delivery to the police;
- stopping vehicles and using technical means;
- practicing shooting skills at the range and in the laser simulation classroom;
- self-defense and detention tactics used in police operations.
The peculiarities of the activities of Ukrainian police training institutions were also presented, and positive practices in the training of Lithuanian and Ukrainian police officers were analysed.
