Representatives of OSUIA visited the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
Delegation from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs visited the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. The event was held to familiarize cadets, students, and scientific and pedagogical workers with the activities of the highest body of constitutional jurisdiction in Ukraine.
The visit was attended by:
cadets from the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine;
full-time students of the Institute of Law and Security;
representatives of the scientific and teaching staff;
the management of the Institute of Law and Security of OSUIA.
The head of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Viktor Beschastnyi, the chief specialist of the external communications and public relations sector, Tetiana Suprovych, and the head of the archive, Nataliia Maievska, conducted a tour and familiarized the guests with the work of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
The students and cadets of the OSUIA were shown the courtroom, told about the composition of the Constitutional Court judges, and given a separate explanation of who has the right to constitutional appeal. Visitors were also explained the peculiarities of the Constitution and given a detailed description of the selection of judges.
Representatives of the OSUIA also had the opportunity to visit the Yaroslav Mudryi National Library of Ukraine, one of the country's leading libraries, where they learned about the history of the development of the legal system and constitutional law and gained access to unique sources of legal literature.
Such events contribute to raising legal awareness, strengthening the rule of law, and promoting respect for constitutional values.
