Practical training on first aid with the participation of specialists of the Odesa regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society

The teaching staff of the Department of Tactical Special and Special Physical Training of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs with the participation of members of the Rapid Response Unit (Commander Maksym Baranetskyi) of the Odesa Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society conducted a practical training session with 2nd and 3rd year cadets on providing first aid to persons affected by offenses, accidents, as well as persons in a helpless state or a life-threatening condition.

The cadets practiced the algorithm of providing assistance before the arrival of an emergency medical team, including moving the victim to a safe place to provide assistance, stopping massive bleeding, and solving problems caused by the victim's breathing and circulation. 

The volunteers also familiarized the cadets with the generally accepted algorithms for providing assistance that they use in their daily work.
