Practical advice from the head of the forensic support department of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region

Head of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigative Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region police Colonel Inna Savelieva, conducted an additional class on the topic of «Criminalistic Examination of Traces» for third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine before they left for their training practice.

During the lecture, the lecturer revealed the peculiarities of the formation of various traces, their extraction, recording in procedural documents, the peculiarities of investigation, and their significance for criminal proceedings and forensic registration.

During the meeting, cadets had the opportunity to learn about modern forensic techniques and methods used in working with evidence, as well as receive practical advice from experts.

All cadets were given memos on the removal and recording of various types of traces in inspection reports.
