Ambassadors of the EU Political and Security Committee and representatives of the EU Advisory Mission visited OSUIA
On November 7, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs was visited by a delegation of representatives of the EU Political and Security Committee and the EU Advisory Mission. The delegation included EU ambassadors, as well as Ms. Delphine Pronk, Chair of the EU Political and Security Committee, and Mr. Rolf Holmbo, Head of EUAM Ukraine.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the ongoing reforms in the security and law enforcement sector, which are actively supported by the European Union in Ukraine. The EU representatives expressed their continued support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and noted the progress made by the country in reforming the civilian security sector.
Ms. Delphine Pronk said: “We highly appreciate your work and want to emphasize the importance of resilience and commitment of both university staff and students. The EU continues to provide support to Ukraine in the security sector and we stand ready to support your efforts to develop a transparent and democratic civilian security sector.”
During the meeting, further prospects for cooperation between the university and EUAM were discussed.
