Scientists of the OSUIA joined the professors' coffee house with a conversation on “Openly about women and girls in science”
On February 10, representatives of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs took part in a professors' coffee shop with a discussion on “Openly about women and girls in science”, organized on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science jointly with the State University of Internal Affairs, Lviv State University of Internal Affairs and the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Hanna Teteriatnyk, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Colonel, welcomed the participants on behalf of the OSUIA , emphasizing the importance of conducting awareness-raising activities on this issue and drawing attention to the contribution of women scientists who laid down their lives in the struggle for our independence.
The event was not only a platform for discussing topical issues of gender equality in science, but also an opportunity for women scientists to share their achievements and exchange views on the importance of mentoring and supporting women in science.
The Professors' Coffee House has become a source of inspiration for new generations of scientists.
