The main tasks of the department are:

1) organization of legal work aimed at the correct application, strict observance and prevention of non-compliance with the requirements of legislation, other regulatory legal acts by structural units of the University, management and employees in the performance of their tasks and functional responsibilities;

2) direction and coordination of legal work at the University, development and participation in the development of draft organizational and administrative acts to ensure the activities of the University;

3) self-representation of the University's interests in courts and representation of its interests in executive authorities, local self-government, law enforcement agencies, enterprises, institutions, organizations;

4) legal support of financial and economic activities of the University, organization of legal work related to the conclusion of agreements (contracts), ensuring their preparation, approval and implementation of measures aimed at fulfilling contractual obligations;

5) legal support for the work of the University administration and structural units of the University.
