In order to implement the information policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Communication Department ensures systematic publication of the activities of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs in the media and on departmental information resources.

The main tasks of the department are:

ensuring comprehensive and objective informing of citizens about the university activities through the media and other means of communication in accordance with the established procedure;

providing information content for the official website of the university and pages in social networks, the Educational and Scientific Portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; 

creating media products, information and creative content that popularizes the university;

organization of cooperation with enterprises and institutions for the production and distribution of information and advertising products about the university; 

monitoring and analyzing information about the university's activities published in the media and the Internet.
