Meeting with representatives of the public organization «VETERANS HUB ODESA»
A meeting between university representatives and veterans who are members of the organization was held at the NGO «VETERANS HUB ODESA», in cooperation with the Center for Interdisciplinary Partnership for Social and Psychological Adaptation and Development of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. During the event, the opportunities offered by the university to veterans and their families were discussed.
Among the areas presented are:
education under university educational programs;
opportunities for training at a departmental driving school;
free legal advice;
education for children of veterans at lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
opportunities for joint sports and educational projects.
The meeting was attended by the university's assistant rector, veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war Serhii KOZACHENKO, and the rector's assistant on gender issues Liubov BEREZOVENKO, who shared projects in the areas of adaptive sports development and functional legal support.
During the conversation between the head of the Hub, Oleksandr HOLOPOTELIUK, the head of the Center, Dr. Zoia DMYTRUK, and representatives of the veteran community, special attention was paid to the development and implementation of an inter-target partnership psychological and social project involving veterans and university students.
The meeting became a platform for exchanging experiences, identifying the current needs of veterans, and discussing further cooperation in the field of education and social, psychological, and legal assistance. Knowledge, support, and prospects for veterans and their families! Together!
