Meeting of OSUIA students with the judge of the Khadzhibey District Court of Odesa
Today, on the occasion of Lawyer's Day, Ihor BOBUIOK, judge of the Khadzhibey District Court of Odesa and candidate of legal sciences, held a meeting with students of the Institute of Law and Security of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
The judge shared his many years of professional experience in the field of justice, talked about the specifics of a judge's daily work, compliance with procedural principles, and the importance of judicial independence.
In his report, the judge emphasized the high ethical standards of judges, responsibility for decisions made, and the role of the court in ensuring the rule of law. He also stressed that modern lawyers must not only have a thorough knowledge of the law, but also be aware of their mission to serve society and protect human rights and freedoms.
The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about judicial practice, career opportunities in the justice system, and the specifics of internships in courts.
The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue, contributing to the formation of a practical understanding of the functioning of the Ukrainian judicial system and the improvement of the professional legal culture of future lawyers.
