Meeting of the «Analyst» scientific club

On the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the founding of OSUIA, a meeting was held between members of the «Analyst» scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Analysis and Information Technologies and University graduates on the topic: «104 years of traditions and development of OSUIA: analytics, technologies, and information support!»

Invited graduates of OSUIA:

Oleksandr Zasnov (class of 2004) – Head of the Ukrainian Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region, Lieutenant Colonel of Police;

Pavlo Havryshko (class of 2008) – Deputy Chief of Police – Head of the Investigation Department of Police Station №1 of the Odesa District Police Department №1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa Region, Police Major;

Vladyslav Kovalchuk (class of 2018) – Head of the Duty Unit of the Police Station №1 of the Odesa District Police Department №1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa Region Police Captain;

Petro Tkach (class of 2025) – soldier in the Joint Assault Brigade «Liut» of the National Police of Ukraine, Assault Regiment «Tsunami».

During the meeting, the guests shared their professional paths, experience working in various departments, and the specifics of information and analytical support for police activities. They also provided practical advice to higher education students regarding professional development.

The event was organized under the leadership of Olena Hrezina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Analysis and Information Technology, and Volodymyr Kaluhin, Professor of the Department of Criminal Analysis and Information Technology.
