Meeting with the head of the Migration Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region

Today, October 17, on the eve of the European Day against Trafficking in Human Beings, an important meeting was organized for cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine of OSUIA by the staff of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities.

The keynote speaker at the event was Colonel Serhii Radosh, Head of the Migration Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa Region.

The meeting focused on current issues and questions related to:

- combating and preventing human trafficking;

- the specific nature of the work of criminal police units in investigating and documenting crimes related to human trafficking;

- international cooperation and current Ukrainian legislation in this area.

Colonel Radosh shared his practical experience with future specialists, gave real examples of criminal cases, and described in detail the latest schemes and methods used by criminals to lure people into exploitation.

The event became an important part of the educational process, providing attendees with up-to-date information firsthand about one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
