Achievements of OSUIA athletes at the Ukrainian Championship in Universal Combat
From May 13 to May 17, the Championship of Ukraine in universal combat among adults, juniors, boys and girls of middle and older age was held in Khmelnitsky.
The event brought together about 550 athletes from all over Ukraine.
OSUIA athletes, as part of the Odesa region team, took part in competitions and received the following awards:
in the «Light» section
in the weight category of 80 kg, gold was won by Mykyta Chebaniuk, an Institute of Law and Security student;
in weight category to 80 kg among adults the 1st place was taken by Ohanes Amirian, cadet of Educational and Research Institute for Training of Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine;
in the weight category up to 57 kg, Diana Astapova, an Institute of Law and Security student, won gold;
in the weight category up to 60 kg - the 2nd place was taken by Hleb Shumskyi, cadet of the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine;
in the weight category up to 70 kg - Viacheslav Tsarenko, cadet of the Educational and Research Institute for Training of Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, and Oleh Stakhov, cadet of the the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine took the bronze line;
in the weight category of 80 kg, Denys Yushchuk, cadet of Faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, won the third place among older boys;
in the «Classics» section
in weight category to 80 kg Yaroslav Skrypnyk, cadet of Faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine took the second place.
