All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference «Conflicts, Gender, and Mediation»

Тhe All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference «Conflicts, Gender, and Mediation» was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was co-organized by Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Odesa Polytechnic National University, the Odesa City Council’s Department of Labor and Social Policy, the Council of Young Scientists at the Odesa Regional State Administration, and the «Odesshchyna» Coalition 1325.

The event brought together more than 100 participants from various higher education institutions, government agencies, the public sector, law enforcement agencies, and military units across Ukraine.

The participants were addressed by Maksym Korniienko, First Vice Rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs; Anatolii Furman, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Humanities at Odesa Polytechnic National University; Ihor Mishchenko, representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in the Odesa region; Nataliia Maslii, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists at the Odesa Regional State Administration, and Nataliia Medvid, Head of the Department for the Implementation of Gender Policy, Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking.

During the conference, participants discussed current issues in the psychology of conflict, mediation, gender equality, social policy, and the legal aspects of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men.

The event concluded with a final interactive session using metaphorical association cards, led by Inha Serednytska, an associate professor in the Department of Civil Law at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
