Visit of the Deputy Head of the Lithuanian Diplomatic Mission to Ukraine to OSUIA

Тhe rector of the University, Police Colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, met with Butkus Donatas, deputy head of the Lithuanian diplomatic mission in Ukraine. The event was also attended by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania Volodymyr Pylypenko and Vice-Rector of the University Anatolii Nikitin.

The rector noted the importance of such meetings to raise awareness of future law enforcement officers about European values, standards and prospects for international cooperation.

Within the framework of the official visit, the guests of honor met with cadets of the faculty of training specialists for the pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU. Mr. Butkus delivered a lecture on international cooperation, the challenges of modernity in the field of security and the role of youth in the formation of the rule of law.

The lecture was a vivid example of a fruitful dialogue between the educational institution and the diplomatic representatives of a friendly state.
