Visit of the European Union Advisory Mission Representatives to OSUIA

Representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine visited the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the visit was for the EUAM delegation to participate in a working meeting with the Rector of the University, Colonel of Police Viacheslav Davydenko, and the First Vice-Rector, Colonel of Police Maksym Korniienko, as well as to hand over modern equipment for a Research laboratory on topical issues of criminal analysis.

The delegation included:
• Anders Johansen, Head of the EUAM Regional Office in Odesa;
• Jean-Marc Krebs, Head of the EUAM Unit for De-occupied and Adjacent Territories;
• Isabelle Langerak, Operations Planning and Reporting Expert at the EUAM Regional Office in Odesa;
• Iryna Kremez, Coordination and Administrative Officer.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current areas of cooperation, in particular the development of educational and research initiatives in the field of criminal analysis, as well as support for the institutional development of the university in the face of modern challenges.

Special attention was paid to the transfer of specialized equipment, which will contribute to improving the practical training of students and advancing research in the field of criminal analysis.
