OSUIA Faculty Members Enhanced Their Professional Competencies

From 22 to 24 June, academic staff members of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs took part in a training seminar for academic and teaching staff of educational institutions within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine entitled “Specific Aspects of Teaching the Educational Components Criminal Law Qualification, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics”.
The participants from OSUIA included Hanna Teteriatnyk, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics and Police Colonel, as well as Nataliia Prodanets and Hanna Reznichenko, Associate Professors of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines.

The event was organized at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the initiative of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Experienced practitioners updated participants' knowledge on current issues related to the qualification and investigation of war crimes, modern forensic support for investigating criminal offences involving the illicit trafficking of firearms, ammunition, explosives, and explosive devices under martial law, working with juvenile participants in criminal proceedings, and conducting procedural interviews.

The seminar featured active discussions and academic exchanges, providing participants with an opportunity to enhance their professional competencies and share practical experience with colleagues.
