OSUIA Hosts Open Practical Shooting Championship
To mark the 11th anniversary of the National Police of Ukraine, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted the Open University Practical Shooting Championship for cadets and law enforcement officers. Veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War who are employed by the University also took part in the competition.
The championship aimed to enhance participants' shooting proficiency, promote shooting sports, strengthen safe firearms handling skills, and improve individual professional training.
In the cadet category, the team from Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs claimed first place. The team from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs finished second, while the Military Academy (Odesa) secured third place.
In the law enforcement officers' category, the team from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs won the championship. The Special Operations Police Unit (KORD) of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region took second place, while the team from Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs earned third place.
