OSUIA Hosts Meeting with Representatives of Biopharma Plasma Donor Center
On March 31, a meeting between higher education students and representatives of the Biopharma Plasma donor center took place at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
At the beginning of the event, Svitlana Kucherenko, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work at OSUIA, addressed the audience, emphasizing the relevance of plasma donation in modern conditions and its importance for the healthcare system.
During the meeting, representatives of the plasma center Kateryna Yefremova and Iryna Vasylenko provided students with detailed information about the activities of Biopharma Plasma. In particular, they spoke about the operation of plasma centers across Ukraine, the conditions for plasma donation, the main requirements for donors, as well as the prospects for industry development and the expansion of cooperation with international partners. Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of plasma donation and its role in the production of medicinal products.
Following the event, students were invited to visit the Biopharma Plasma center to gain practical insight into the plasma donation process.
