XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to Lawyers’ Day Held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs
Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted the XVIII International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “The Role and Place of Law Enforcement Agencies in Building a Democratic State Governed by the Rule of Law,” dedicated to Lawyers’ Day.
The conference was held in a mixed format and brought together scholars, lecturers, adjuncts, postgraduate students, higher education students, and representatives of practical units of law enforcement agencies from different regions of Ukraine and abroad.
During the conference, participants discussed current legal, security and social issues related to the development of the state and the activities of law enforcement agencies in contemporary conditions.
Particular attention was focused on issues of administrative and criminal law, criminal proceedings and operational-search activities, combating corruption and drug-related crime, criminalistics and legal psychology.
Other areas of scientific discussion included innovative approaches and methods in criminal police activities, service and combat training of police officers and military personnel for performing tasks under martial law, protection of private rights and interests, as well as the national and patriotic education of young people.
