The Research Laboratory for Current Issues in Criminal Analysis hosted a presentation of a unique initiative – the Cybersecurity Club, which will serve as a platform for bringing together students, researchers, and practitioners in the field of cybersecurity.

What the club will do:

- research modern cyber threats and methods of countering them;

- study cyber security tools and digital forensics;

- practical cases of cybercrime investigation.

The initiators of the club's creation were Ruslan MELYKOV, acting head of the laboratory, and Bohdan KRYZHANIVSKYI, head of the 1st sector of the Cybercrime Counteraction Department in the Odesa region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

The Cybersecurity Club is a new step in the formation of a modern educational and scientific space where students will gain not only knowledge but also the practical skills necessary to combat crime in cyberspace.
