Opening ceremony of advanced training courses for scientific and pedagogical (teaching) staff
On April 7, OSUIA hosted the grand opening of advanced training courses for scientific and pedagogical (pedagogical) staff who provide teaching of the disciplines (subjects) “Criminal Procedure” and “Criminalistics” in educational institutions with specific learning conditions that train police officers.
The courses are aimed at providing teachers with up-to-date practical knowledge from representatives of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine and investigative departments in the regions.
Rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, delivered a welcoming speech and emphasized the importance of combining theoretical and practical training both during the educational process of higher education applicants and for the professional development of academic staff.
The Deputy Head of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Colonel Artem Shevchyshen, also joined the greetings and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the higher education institutions of the MIA of Ukraine and practical units in training future police officers.
