Participation of Representatives from the OSUIA in the Seventh Meeting of the Interagency Expert Group

Representatives of the OSUIA: Olena Babchuk, head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, and Olena Kaminska, head of the Department of Educational Quality Assurance, participated in the seventh meeting of the Interagency Expert Group (IEG) dedicated to the development of a Leadership Program for Law Enforcement Agencies, which took place in Košice (Slovak Republic).
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize participants with contemporary European approaches to leadership and management training, to exchange experiences with European partners, and to further improve the curriculum by strengthening its practical and competency-based focus.
As part of the program, an expert from CEIDA, the Italian Center for Executive and Management Training, conducted a series of practical sessions on leadership under pressure, emotional management, effective communication and feedback, accountability, motivation, and teamwork.

The participants also visited the University of Security Management in Košice (VSM), where they learned about educational approaches to training security sector professionals. During the working meetings, they discussed current security challenges, issues of integrity and the prevention of corruption risks, as well as European practices in the field of security management and critical infrastructure protection.
