Participation of OSUIA cadets in the Advocacy Speech Competition
On November 7, OSUIA cadets took part in the Advocacy Speech Competition held as part of the IV Carpathian Legal Forum «Advocacy and Justice in Times of Change», which took place at the «King Danylo University» (Ivano-Frankivsk).
The forum brought together academics, practicing lawyers, judges, and future lawyers from different regions of Ukraine to discuss topical issues of the development of the legal profession, ethics, and justice in the current environment.
After the plenary session, the cadets took part in a competition of advocacy speeches among higher education students entitled «The Art of Persuasion – The Heart of the Legal Profession», in the category «Lawyer in Criminal and Civil Proceedings».
Based on the results of the competition, Oleksandr Bardai and Antonina Rybina were awarded third-degree diplomas for their high level of preparation, performance skills, and ability to defend their legal position.
Procedural guidance and support for cadets was provided by: Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Iryna HLOVIUK, Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Nataliia BILAK, and Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Artem PYTOMETS.
