The “Barrier-Free Driving School” of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs has another successful graduate Odesa resident Vitalii Tsvil, who proves by his own example that no circumstances are an obstacle to personal growth and self-realization.

34-year-old Vitalii sustained a serious workplace injury and, as a result of an accident, lost his arm. Despite this, he not only adapted to life but also actively engages in sports and helps others in particular, he takes part in the rehabilitation of wounded servicemen.

The decision to enroll in the driving school developed gradually. Ultimately, he was inspired by the example of a friend who had successfully completed training at the “Barrier-Free Driving School” of OSUIA.

Vitalii emphasizes that the key advantage of the “Barrier-Free Driving School” lies in its adaptation to the needs of people with disabilities. Equally important is the professionalism of the instructors.

Obtaining a driver’s license opens up new opportunities for Vitalii in work, travel, and everyday life. He is actively involved in sports, works as a coach-instructor at the Ukrainian Maritime All-Around Federation, and helps military personnel undergo rehabilitation through physical activity.

By his example, he motivates others not to be afraid of change and to make use of available opportunities: “If there is an opportunity you should try. Don’t hesitate. Start, and everything else will fall into place.”

This graduate’s story is yet another confirmation that the “Barrier-Free Driving School” is an important project that opens new horizons for people, helping them become more independent and confident.
