Airsoft tournament for the Rector's Cup of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs
On March 1, the airsoft tournament for the Rector's Cup of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs was held at the «National Federation of Airsoft of Ukraine».
The event was organized by the acting head of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training Yurii KOLOMIIETS and with the assistance of the primary trade union organization of OSUIA employees.
Airsoft promotes the development of tactical thinking, teamwork, decision-making speed and skills in extreme conditions. Thanks to such competitions, future law enforcement officers improve their physical endurance, learn to work in a coordinated team and effectively use tactical techniques. In addition, airsoft helps to build stress resistance and psychological readiness for real-life operational tasks, which increases the overall level of cadets' professional training.
According to the results of the competition, the prizes were distributed as follows:
The first place was taken by the team of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU;
Second place - the team of the Faculty of Training of Specialists for the Preventive Activities of the NPU;
Third place - the team of the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU.
