Тренінговий курс з першої психологічної допомоги

A training course on first psychological assistance for operational response workers (PFA First Responders) is ongoing for cadets of OSUIA. Currently, the training course has been completed by cadets of the 3rd year of the faculty of specialist training for units of preventive activities of the NPU.

The implementation of the project of a series of trainings for the acquisition of skills and abilities to provide first psychological assistance is carried out by representatives of the psychological support department of the university, certified trainers (ToT) in first psychological assistance (FPA), accredited by EFPA within the framework of the EuroPsy system: Viktoriia Dubiniak, Olha Melnykova and Ruslan Balandin.

During the training, the participants got acquainted with the main principles, methods and stages of providing first psychological assistance, modeled practical situations of real circumstances of crisis situations and worked out practical protocols of actions in them.

The cadets discussed the importance of maintaining mental health and were given tools to maintain their own mental health. The certified training course will continue.
