Traditional Monthly “Bell of Remembrance” Ceremony Held in Odesa
Honoring the memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine is our sacred duty. It is not only a profound sorrow, but also a great responsibility to be worthy of their sacrifice and to continue the struggle for a free and independent state. As long as we remember, our Heroes live on in our hearts and in the history of our victory.
Today, on the last day of March, the traditional monthly “Bell of Remembrance” ceremony took place in Odesa. During the event, participants commemorated by name each defender from Odesa and the region who lost their lives in battles for Ukraine in March throughout all the years of the war.
Each toll of the bell which rang after each Hero’s name became a symbol of deep sorrow and boundless gratitude for the opportunity to live and work in our native city.
Together with the families of the fallen soldiers and their brothers-in-arms, those present bowed their heads in a moment of silence and shared prayer.
Representatives of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs also joined the event, along with veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war Serhii Kozachenko, Oleksii Ishchuk, and Oleksandr Diuzhykov.
Eternal memory and glory to the Heroes who paid the highest price for our future.
Glory to Ukraine!
