A specialized academic council has been established (code 41.884.02)

Pursuant to Order № 439 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated March 11, 2026, a specialized academic council (code 41.884.02) has been established at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs to award the degree of Doctor of Science for a term of three years.

The council’s scope covers the following specializations: 12.00.07 «Administrative Law and Procedure; Financial Law; Information Law», 12.00.08 «Criminal Law and Criminology; Penitentiary Law», 12.00.09 «Criminal Procedure and Forensic Science; forensic examination; investigative activities», with the authority to accept for review and conduct defenses of dissertations classified as «Secret» and «Restricted» (for official use only).

The council includes leading scholars from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute», Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
