Students of the OSUIA Visit the Odesa Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination

First-year students of the Institute of Law and Security of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, together with the Head of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines, Viktoriia Kobko-Odarii, visited the Odesa Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination.

During the visit, the students attended an informative lecture titled “Constitutional Standards for the Treatment of the Bodies of the Deceased in Forensic Medical Examination Activities.”

The meeting addressed important issues related to the observance of human rights even after death, as well as the ethical and legal aspects of the work of forensic medical experts. Particular attention was paid to the role of constitutional guarantees in ensuring proper and respectful handling of the deceased.

Such practical experience is extremely valuable for future lawyers, as it allows them not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge but also to observe how it is applied in real professional settings.
